There was a headline in the news this morning - "Teacher Sends Feces Home in Student's Backpack".

Apparently a kindergarten teacher in Yakima, Washington found a turd on the floor and figured it was a particular kid's. She placed it in a baggie and put it in his backpack with a note to his parents "This little turd was found on the floor in my room". Now the teacher is in trouble.

So what I want to know is if it's perfectly acceptable to spend all day filling their brains with crap, what's the big deal with putting some in their backpack?
