Don David Malbec

On our recent adventure to the Serengeti Resort, we discovered this Argentine Malbec. Even though the resort advertises its wine centered activities, we brought a couple of bottles of Pinot Noir from home (just in case). However, we were pleased to find they had quite a selection. Since we were on an adventure, we decided to try something different and new (new to us, that is). Personally, I have tried a few Argentine Malbecs and found them to my liking. So, it wasn't too difficult to talk my wife into trying one. Since it was steak night, it seemed like a good choice.

They had three or four to choose from, but we quickly learned that the unanimous choice of the resort's personnel was the 2007 Don David Malbec Reserve. We were not disappointed. We ended up ordering two bottles. If you are a fan of Malbec or have never tried one, this is definitely worth seeking out.
