King Estate Pinot Noir

I believe King Estate has the largest production of Pinot Noir in Oregon. This may be why reviewers of Oregon Pinots tend to rate it middle of the road compared to the products of smaller wineries. However, I believe King Estate's size may have something to do with its consistency. We have enjoyed every King Estate vintage since 2001 and it has never varied. I know when I open a bottle of King Estate, I am going to enjoy my wine.

In May 2010, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit the King Estate winery. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed a wonderful dinner on their outdoor patio. Here are some pictures of the estate.
